What we collect
Without an account: nothing personally identifying. Calculator inputs (vehicle, ZIP, charging frequency) are processed for the calculation and only persisted if you create an account and save the result. We use Vercel Analytics for anonymous traffic stats.
With an account
We store your email address (for sign-in), an optional display name, your saved calculations, and your forum posts and votes. Standard stuff.
Sharing data for research
If you tick the “share my anonymous savings data” box, we include your saved calculation in aggregate statistics shown on the forum for your car’s model. The aggregate is computed server-side and never exposes your individual numbers, identity, or ZIP. Aggregates are only displayed when at least 5 owners have opted in for the same model. Toggle this off in your account at any time.
What we don't do
We don’t sell your data. We don’t run third-party ad trackers. We don’t share your forum posts with anyone outside the public site.
Third-party APIs
Calculations call public APIs from EPA fueleconomy.gov, the U.S. Energy Information Administration, and Zippopotam.us for ZIP geocoding. These services may log request metadata (IP, user agent) per their own policies.

Email contact@qxmedia.us to request a copy or deletion of your data. We’ll process it within 30 days.
